 Established here in Salem, Virginia in 1902, we have been a permanent fixture on the corner of Main and Shanks Street welcoming people from many different backgrounds.
​
​We offer offers ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ.  The adult preaching and teaching is led by Taylor Plott, our preaching minister. Our teens can take part in an amazing youth program and events. Younger children will enjoy programs specifically geared to their age level. Nursery services are available during the 11am worship service for our youngest attenders.

Statement of faith
  • Jesus Christ is the only Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead.
  • That the Bible is the word of God.
  • That everyone is a child of God and has worth as a person, but that we have all sinned.
  • That forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who accept Jesus as Savior and LORD.
  • That we as Christians should repent of sin, confess our faith and be baptized.
  • That we are the body of Christ and exist to glorify Him.
  • That Jesus Christ will one day return to earth to receive His church and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
  • That it is our responsibility as followers of Jesus to spread the Good News of Him in both our words and deeds.
