We're sending this newsletter out a few days early as our team here has a busy weekend ahead. A Saturday morning wedding here in the North followed by a youth retreat at the Thai-Myanmar border will keep our team busy through next Tuesday. Pictures will be in the March newsletter.
In Mid-March we are hoping to take our Berea Home kids and home parents to the beach for four days. This trip has been postponed now for two years due to Covid. However, Covid cases are rising again in Thailand, topping 20,000 this week! But infections are mild and the number of deaths has been low. Some of our kids' homes, including Berea Home, had Covid infections as you'll see in this month's newsletter. Mike has been able to worship with Berea Home some, and a number of times with Gethsemane Home and some of the other homes in spite of Covid interruptions.
The cool season will soon be leaving leading us into the hot season and a lot of burning and smoke in the mountains.
Thank you for partnering with us so faithfully! Saying "thank you" just once a month seems so inadequate. We have been so blessed by you with your additional gifts for refugees from Myanmar, along with the generosity of International Disaster Emergency Services (I.D.E.S.).
