Dear Family And Friends, Mike returned safely to the States on August 5th. Since all domestic flights between Bangkok and Chiang Mai had been grounded he had to travel by car to Bangkok International Airport, a 9-hour drive, in order to catch his international flights back to the States. Since the pandemic began in early 2020 more than 1 million infections have been recorded in Thailand along with more than 11,000 deaths. The good news is that daily infections and deaths have slightly decreased. Thailand's government is still hoping to reopen fully to international tourists by mid-October. We have been traveling some, visiting churches that we had previously missed due to the pandemic. We continue to be so thankful for churches and individuals who are praying for and supporting our ministry in Thailand! We receive regular reports of the happenings and the ministry continues through the faithfulness of our co-workers there! On a personal note, Mike lost one of his sisters, Glenna Garwood, just recently. Mike was asked to conduct her funeral this past Saturday, August 28th. We covet your prayers for comfort. May God bless each of you! Mike and Debbie
